Flatter Recoil. Faster Follow-Ups.

Every time a round leaves the barrel, the expanding gas behind the bullet drives the muzzle up and back. That muzzle rise is what pulls your sights off target and costs you time between shots. Barrel porting puts that gas to work for you.

We precision-machine ports into the top of your barrel near the muzzle. As the bullet passes, a portion of the propellant gas vents upward through the ports, pushing the muzzle down and counteracting the flip that comes with every shot. The result is a pistol that tracks flatter, settles faster, and keeps your dot or front sight where you need it.

What Porting Does for You

  • Reduced muzzle rise — upward-vented gas pushes back against the muzzle’s natural flip.
  • Faster split times — less movement means your sights return to target sooner, so you can break the next shot quicker.
  • Better recoil control — a flatter-shooting gun is easier to manage through long strings and fast transitions.
  • Sharper sight tracking — watch your sights lift and return on a tighter, more predictable path.

Built With Care

Port placement, size, and angle are cut with precision so the job is clean, consistent, and matched to your barrel. Every barrel is deburred and inspected before it goes back to you.

Note: porting redirects muzzle blast upward, so expect more noticeable flash and report, especially at night or under covered ranges. Price is $180 per barrel, plus shipping. Questions about your specific barrel? Request a quote and we’ll walk you through it.
